The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China issued Announcement No. 17 of 2016, approving 587 industry standards. Among them, there are 9 valve standards:


1. Standard number: JB/T 5298-2016;

Standard name: Steel flat gate valves for pipelines;

Main content of the standard: This standard specifies the terminology, structural types and parameters, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules and markings, basic requirements for packaging and storage of steel flat gate valves for pipeline use.

This standard applies to steel flat gate valves for petroleum and natural gas pipelines (excluding subsea pipelines) with nominal pressures ranging from PN16 to PN420 (Class150 to Class2500), nominal sizes ranging from DN50 to DN1200 (NPS 2 to NPS48), medium temperatures ranging from -46 ℃ to 180 ℃; Alternative standard: JB/T 5298-1991;

2. Standard number: JB/T 12796-2016;

Standard name: Fixed cone valve;

Main content of the standard: This standard specifies the structural type, model and parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, protection, and storage of fixed conical valves.

This standard applies to fixed conical valves with nominal pressures ranging from PN2.5 to PN25, nominal sizes ranging from DN100 to DN4000, medium temperatures ranging from 0 to 80 ℃, and working medium of water.

3. Standard number: JB/T 12797-2016;

Standard name: Technical conditions for valves used in coal chemical plants;

Main content of the standard: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules, markings, protection, and packaging of wear-resistant valves for coal chemical equipment.

This standard is applicable to wear-resistant valves used in coal chemical plants, and its scope of application is: nominal pressure PN16~PN250, nominal size DN25~DN600; Pressure rating Class150~Class1500, nominal pipe diameter NPS1~NPS24; Operating temperature -29 ℃ to 538 ℃; Metal sealed ball valves, eccentric hemispherical valves, check valves, plug valves, etc. suitable for media such as black water, gray water, coal slurry, coal slag, coal powder, and fly ash. Other similar valves can refer to the execution;

Main content of the standard: This standard specifies the classification and marking, design and structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of marine pneumatic control ball valves according to CB/T 4196-2011 and GB/T 2501-2010 for flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces.

This standard applies to the design, manufacturing, and acceptance of pneumatic ball valves for ship piping systems with media such as seawater, fresh water, oil, air, and steam;

5. Standard number: CB/T 4384-2016;

Standard name: Marine pneumatic control butterfly valve;

Main content of the standard: This standard specifies the classification and marking, design and structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of pneumatic control butterfly valves for ships in accordance with GB/T2501-2010 for flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces.

This standard applies to the design, manufacturing, and acceptance of pneumatic butterfly valves for ship pipeline systems using seawater, fresh water, and crude oil and finished oil with a working temperature not exceeding 170 ℃ as the medium;

This standard applies to the design, manufacturing, and acceptance of butterfly valves for liquefied gas carrier liquid cargo pipeline systems with a nominal pressure of PN20 (Class150) and a design temperature of -196 ℃ to 80 ℃;
